Through hands-on learning, state-of-the-art equipment, and strong industry collaboration, the BEST Center prepares students for high-wage, high-demand careers that strengthen Eastern North Carolina’s economy and position Wilson as a leader in biomanufacturing innovation.

The BEST (Biomanufacturing Education and Skills Training) Center operated by Wilson Community College, is a regional hub for biotechnology education, workforce training, and industry collaboration. Opening in early 2027, the state-of-the-art facility is designed to prepare students and workers for in-demand careers in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and the life sciences.
